Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Welcome to Tifo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tifo website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Tifo is operated by Théo Neubeck ("we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. How the Platform Works

  • A game of skill: Tifo is a free-to-play, skill-based prediction game. Your mission is to predict the outcomes of football matches and related events ("Events") made available on the Platform.
  • Points: Correct predictions earn you in-game points. Points measure your prediction skill and performance within the game.
  • Leaderboards: Your accumulated points are used to determine your rank on public leaderboards (e.g. monthly, seasonal, per-competition). The goal is to compete for reputation, prestige, and bragging rights within the community.
  • No monetary value: Points are a virtual in-game scoring system and have no monetary value. They cannot be sold, transferred, redeemed, or exchanged for cash, cryptocurrency, or any real-world prize. The Platform is provided for entertainment purposes only.
  • Private leagues: You may create and join private, invite-only leagues to compete directly with friends. These Terms apply equally to public and private competitions.
  • Free to play: Use of the Platform is free of charge. No payment is required to create an account, submit predictions, or earn points. The Platform contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

3. User Accounts

  • Account creation: You must register for an account to participate in the game and appear on leaderboards. You may register using an email address and password, or through Google or Apple sign-in.
  • Account responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Account conduct: You agree not to:
    • Create more than one account for yourself.
    • Impersonate any person or entity.
    • Sell, transfer, or allow any other person to access your account.
    • Use the Platform for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
    • Using any automated system, bot, script, or cheat to submit predictions or accumulate points.
    • Attempting to interfere with, compromise the integrity of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Platform.
    • Exploiting any bug or vulnerability in the Platform to gain an unfair advantage.
    • Engaging in any behaviour that is abusive, harassing, or unsportsmanlike toward other users.
  • Consequences: Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of accumulated points, and a permanent ban from the Platform, at our sole discretion.

5. Predictions and Results

  • Deadlines: Predictions for an Event are locked and cannot be changed after the specified deadline.
  • Event resolution: Events are settled based on official real-life outcomes provided by our data providers (including API-Football). We strive for accuracy, but our decision on the settlement of any Event is final and binding.
  • Points awarding: Points are credited to your account after an Event has been settled and your prediction is confirmed as correct. The reward for an Event may decrease over time before its deadline.

6. No Gambling

Tifo is not a gambling service. The Platform involves no wagers, no real-money stakes, and no cash or cash-equivalent prizes. Points have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Théo Neubeck and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our prior written consent. Football data, team names, and competition names belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information or data displayed is accurate or reliable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Tifo or Théo Neubeck be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Platform or by other means. Your continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
